The Nation’s Foremost
Mobile Medical Ministry.

Utilizing state-of-the-art mobile medical units, Good Samaritan Health Services is taking quality, free medical care directly to the poor and under-served in the greater Tulsa area.  Our primarily volunteer staff of physicians and nurses partner with local churches and other organizations which help coordinate our regularly scheduled clinics.

Patients receive the primary and preventative care they often desperately need, without turning to over-crowded emergency rooms.  In addition, our volunteers offer to pray with our patients and connect them to other available resources.  It’s this holistic approach that takes Good Samaritan Health Services beyond another free clinic, to a relationship-building ministry with the power to transform lives.  The proof can be seen in the faces of our patients – and in our growing impact.  Since pulling up to our first clinic site in 1998, we’ve seen more than 30,000 patient visits, without the use of taxpayer funding.  As our work continues, we remain focused on increasing our local impact, and guiding others in their effort to build similar mobile medical ministries in communities across the country.

Our concept of mobilizing a free, state-of-the-art medical clinic is based on a desire to identify the greatest needs, meet those needs where they are, and change lives in the process.  The classic “build it and hope they come” isn’t enough for people with limited resources and transportation.  The mobile medical ministry breaks down barriers that prevent people from receiving the care they need.
